Steamboat Bill's has been a cajun kitchen staple in Louisiana since 1982. Unfortunately the branding hasn't kept as fresh as the crawfish. So, I identified the key visual language of Steamboat Bill's and took to the drawing board to put a new face on an old friend. I created both a character as well as a typical typography lockup for different uses including apparel, murals and menus.
